The Department of Planning, Transport & Infrastructure (DPTI) Civil Engineering Scholarship 2017 is now open for applications.One scholarship valued at $6,000 annually for up to (2) two years is available to a student undertaking their third year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Civil & Structural) program or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Civil & Environmental) program.

Applications are invited for a postgraduate studentship position (M.Sc. initially, possibly leading on to Ph.D.) at the Institute of Technology Carlow, to start autumn 2017. The project is funded by Alltech Ireland (see http://global.alltech.com/ireland), whose European Bioscience Centre is located in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.
